MEET THE PEOPLE WHO BRING TUPAN TO LIFE.
Tupan exists because of people. The hands and communities that protect the Amazon and make Açaí Coffee possible.
AMAZONBAI
Amazonbai is a certified cooperative of smallholder farmers from Bailique, in the heart of the Amazon River delta. Through traditional harvesting methods, they collect açaí while preserving local biodiversity, protecting the forest, and strengthening riverside communities.
Backed by rigorous certifications including Fair for Life, USDA Organic, ECOCERT, and FLO Fairtrade, Amazonbai supplies açaí beans to Engenho Café de Açaí, where they are responsibly processed and transformed into the açaí coffee used in Tupan products.
ENGENHO CAFÉ DE AÇAÍ
Engenho Café de Açaí is a Brazilian pioneer in the transformation of açaí into innovative, high-quality ingredients. Working at the intersection of science, tradition, and sustainability, Engenho upcycles açaí beans into functional products that respect both the forest and the people.
The company operates under rigorous quality and regulatory standards, holding USDA Organic certification, FDA registration, and producing ingredients that are 100% vegan. Through responsible processing methods, Engenho ensures traceability, food safety, and consistency—turning what was once considered waste into a clean, functional, and purpose-driven ingredient for Tupan Beverages.
